Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana : After releasing the 18th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme in Washim, Maharashtra today (October 5, Saturday), Prime Minister Narendra Modi released an additional benefit of about Rs 2,000 crore to the farmers of Maharashtra under the 5th installment of the Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana. In this important program, the Prime Minister gave direct financial benefits of more than Rs 20,000 crore to more than 9.4 crore farmers across the country through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) without any middleman.

On this occasion, PM Modi said that during the holy time of Navratri, I have just had the opportunity to release the 18th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. More than 20 thousand crore rupees have been transferred to the accounts of 9.5 crore farmers of the country today. The double-engine government of Maharashtra is giving double benefits to the farmers of Maharashtra. Under the Namo Shetkari Mahasamman Nidhi Yojana, about 19 hundred crore rupees have been given to more than 90 lakh farmers of Maharashtra.

With the release of the 18th installment of PM Kisan, the total amount transferred under this scheme will exceed 3.45 lakh crores. This scheme supports more than 11 crore farmers across the country and reaffirms the government's commitment to rural development and agricultural prosperity. In Maharashtra, about Rs 32,000 crore has been transferred to about 1.20 crore farmers in 17 installments of the scheme, which is the second-highest amount among all states in India. In the 18th installment, about 91.51 lakh farmers received benefits of more than Rs 1,900 crore.
