US Terror Attack: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday condemned the 'terrorist attack' in New Orleans, USA, that killed 15 people and injured at least 35 others.
PM Modi expressed his condolences to the people of America on the social media platform 'X'. He mentioned the attack in the Bourbon Street area in New Orleans, where a former US Army soldier with suspected links to the ISIS terrorist organization unleashed a speeding car on the crowd.

PM Modi said that we strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack in New Orleans. Our prayers are with the victims and their families. Wishing them the strength to overcome this tragedy.
ISIS connection of the attacker
It is noteworthy that the name of the attacker is said to be Shamsuddin Jabbar, who was killed by the police. 42-year-old Jabbar was an American citizen and a resident of Texas. He drove a Ford pickup truck over a crowd of people celebrating New Year. Jabbar had rented the vehicle used in the attack in which the flag of the terrorist organization IS was found.
