As soon as Ayub was dismissed, Pakistan suffered a second blow at the score of 85 runs when Abdullah Shafique was dismissed after scoring 37 runs off 53 balls. After the fall of two wickets, Babar and Rizwan made an unbeaten partnership of 58 runs for the third wicket.
