PM Modi Brazil Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Brazil from 18-19 November to attend the G20 summit. Visit to Nigeria on 16-17 November Along with this, PM Modi will visit Nigeria on 16-17 November. This will be the first visit to Nigeria by an Indian Prime Minister in 17 years. The Ministry of External Affairs said that Prime Minister Modi will visit Guyana on a state visit from 19-21 November, this will be the first visit to Guyana by an Indian Prime Minister since 1968.
India held the presidency of the G-20 last year, which PM Modi handed over to Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. In this summit, Prime Minister Modi is likely to emphasize on the issues of global technology regulation and financial resources for the use of environmentally friendly energy under the New Delhi Declaration. PM Modi may also have bilateral meetings with many global leaders. Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Joe Biden will also attend it.
40 percent of the population in Guyana is of Indian origin
In the last leg of his visit, PM Modi will visit Guyana from 19-21 November. Prime Minister Modi will hold a meeting with Guyana's President Irfan Ali. Along with this, PM Modi will chair the India-Caribbean (CARICOM) summit, which will focus on trade, investment and infrastructure. About 40 percent of the population in Guyana is of Indian origin, who are called 'Indo-Guyanese'. All of them are from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand. President Ali is also of Indian origin.
