Amit Shah Slams Mallikarjun Kharge : Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday termed Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge's remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a public meeting in Jammu and Kashmir as 'extremely bad and insulting'. Shah said that 'in a bitter manner showing hatred', Kharge unnecessarily dragged Prime Minister Narendra Modi's name into his personal health matter by saying that he would not die before removing Modi from power.

'I will not die before removing Modi from power'

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge felt unwell at a rally in Jammu and Kashmir's Jasrota on Sunday but after a brief pause, he continued with his speech, attacking the ruling party and saying he would not die before removing Prime Minister Narendra Modi from power. "When our government comes, we will end terrorism," Kharge said in a trembling voice. He paused for a while after which his aide and others present on the stage came to him and helped him sit on a chair.

'Extremely bad and abusive behavior'

After getting medical help at the rally venue, Kharge said, "We will fight to restore the state's status. Whatever happens, we are not going to give up. I am 83 years old, I am not going to die so soon. I will stay alive until (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi is removed from power. I will listen to you. I will fight for you." Shah targeted Kharge over this comment. He wrote on the social media platform 'X' that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge ji behaved 'extremely badly and insultingly' in his speech yesterday.

'PM Modi unnecessarily dragged'

Shah wrote, 'Bitterly, showing hatred, he unnecessarily dragged PM Modi in the matter of his personal health and said that he will not die before removing PM Modi.' He said that Kharge's comment shows how much hatred and fear the Congress people have for PM Modi and they keep thinking about him constantly. The minister said, 'As far as Kharge ji's health is concerned, Modi ji, I and all of us pray that he lives a long and healthy life. May he live for many years. May he live to see the creation of a developed India by 2047.'
