Panchkula: A bus full of children met with an accident in the district on Saturday. Many children were injured in the accident, and have been rushed to the hospital for treatment. According to the report, this accident happened near Tikkar Lake near Morni Hills in Panchkula. According to the information, the driver was driving the bus at a high speed, due to which the bus went out of control and fell into the ditch. On receiving information about the accident, police and local people reached the spot and started the rescue operation. The injured children were immediately taken out of the bus and sent to Sector-6 hospital for treatment. The CMO himself is present on the spot.
Children from Nankana Sahib School
According to the information, the children and staff of Nankana Sahib School of Malerkotla, Punjab were going to Panchkula Morni Hills for a trip. Near Tikkar Lake near Morni Hills, the driver lost control of the bus and the bus went out of control and fell into the ditch. There were 45 children and three other people on the bus.
The condition of the bus driver injured in the accident is said to be critical. The driver has been admitted to Sector-6 Hospital for treatment. The police have informed the parents of the children about the accident. However, clear information is not yet available about how many children have been injured.
