Parliament Winter Session : The central government has called a meeting of all political parties before the winter session of Parliament. This meeting has been called to ensure the smooth functioning of the House. Leaders of Congress, Trinamool Congress, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), Shiv Sena, Biju Janata Dal (BJD), and other parties are likely to attend this meeting called by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.
Let us tell you, that the winter session of Parliament will start on Monday and will continue till December 20. 16 bills including the Waqf Amendment Bill have been listed for this session, while the opposition will try its best to raise the issue of the ongoing ethnic violence in Manipur and the US court's indictment against businessman Gautam Adani on charges of bribery. Many opposition leaders have said that they will raise the issue of the allegations against Adani in Parliament. At the same time, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi has demanded an inquiry into the allegations by a joint parliamentary committee.

Opposition members of the committee are demanding an extension of the deadline for submitting the committee's report. They have alleged that the committee chairman and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Jagdambika Pal are disrupting the meetings of the committee and have sought Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla's intervention.
