Pragya Singh Thakur : Pragya Singh Thakur, an accused in Maharashtra's 2008 Malegaon blast case, posted a photo of her swollen face on social media on Thursday. She said that she suffered lifelong pain due to the torture of the Congress and if she survived, she would definitely appear in court. She posted this photo two days after a special court hearing in the Malegaon blast case issued a bailable warrant against the former Bhopal BJP MP for not attending the hearing.
Pragya Thakur and six other persons are facing trial for their alleged involvement in the blast. Issuing the bailable warrant, special court judge A.K. Lahoti on Tuesday said that final arguments are going on in the case and the presence of the accused is necessary. According to the warrant, Thakur has to appear in court by November 13.
Pragya Thakur said in a post on X, that Congress' torture was not limited to ATS custody, it became the cause of life-threatening pain for me. Swelling in the brain, poor eyesight, poor hearing, imbalance in speech, swelling in the whole body due to steroids and neuro medicines. I am undergoing treatment in a hospital. If I survive, I will definitely go to court.
