SBI Share Price Target 2025: Leading brokerage firm Sharekhan has maintained a BUY rating on State Bank of India (SBI). It said that SBI remains its top pick from the PSU bank basket. According to Sharekhan, State Bank of India is an attractive stock in the fast-growing Indian economy, with a healthy balance sheet and strong lending capacity. SBI's quarterly results indicate its business strength and the bank has worked on improving operating metrics along with excellent sector tailwinds.
What are the positive factors for the bank
Sharekhan has said that SBI is confident of delivering 15 percent loan growth and 16 to 18 percent ROE in the short to mid term. SBI is well positioned to handle sectoral challenges.
It has surplus liquidity and a comfortable LDR (loan-to-deposit ratio) at 75 per cent, while the start of the interest rate cutting cycle will not have much impact on its margins as the bank has measures in place to limit it.
SBI Share Price Target 2025
Sharekhan said it sees SBI share price crossing the Rs 1000 level in 2025. It has set a target price of Rs 1050, which reflects an upside of Rs 250 or 31 per cent from Friday's closing price of Rs 800.85 on NSE.
