According to the holiday list of the Reserve Bank of India, all government and private banks will remain closed across the country including Maharashtra and Jharkhand on November 23 as it is the fourth Saturday of the month.

Maharashtra Assembly Elections
Votes will be counted for 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra, with many constituencies witnessing fierce contests. Key leaders include Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who is contesting from Kopri-Pachpakhadi against Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Kedar Prakash Dighe, and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who is defending his stronghold in Nagpur South West against Congress candidate Praful Gudade.
While Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar is aiming to improve his party's performance in this election, for Uddhav Thackeray, this will be a real test for his party Shiv Sena (UBT). This will be the first time that the Shiv Sena and NCP factions will contest the state elections after their split.
In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, the BJP won 105 seats, Shiv Sena 56 and Congress 44. In 2014, the BJP had won 122 seats, Shiv Sena 63 and Congress 42.
The ruling BJP-led Mahayuti alliance comprises the BJP, Shiv Sena, and Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar faction). The opposition party grouping Maha Vikas Aghadi comprises the Congress, Shiv Sena (UTA), and NCP (Sharad Pawar faction).
