Many areas of Rajasthan are in the grip of heavy rains. Jaipur District Collector says that this decision has been taken keeping in mind the safety of the students.
Rajasthan has received 7.95 inches of rain in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 20 coaching institutes and about 5 thousand schools will remain closed in Rajasthan. Today also, schools have been declared closed in many districts of the state due to rain. So far, the state has received about one and a half times more rain than the average. There is a warning of heavy rain in Jaisalmer, Phalodi, Tonk, Deeg, Sawai Madhopur, and Karauli.
Schools closed in Jaipur: District collector issued an alert
Jaipur's District Collector Prakash Rajpurohit has issued an order to keep all schools in the district closed. On the orders of the District Collector, both government and private schools will be closed. Schools have been closed for children on Tuesday as well. However, the official work of the school will continue.
Will remain affected for 4-5 days
The havoc of heavy rains in many areas of Rajasthan can remain for 4-5 days. There are about a dozen districts in the state where orange alert has been issued. In such a situation, schools can be kept closed. Given the problems faced by students in reaching school due to waterlogging, the District Collector can declare a holiday.
