School Holiday on Second Saturday: A new order has been issued for all private and government schools in Haryana. According to the order issued, now all schools will be closed on every second Saturday. This rule is being implemented from today i.e. 9 November 2024. There is news of relief for students and teachers. Now there is no need to wait for the long weekend. You will get its benefit every month.

According to the information, the department said in the order that it has been observed that during gazetted, local, or other declared holidays, some schools call students to school for activities other than studies, which is wrong. It has also been ordered that students should not be called to school for any activity during holidays.

If any school disobeys the orders, its case will be sent to higher authorities for departmental action. After this, whatever action is taken, the school head or the administration itself will be responsible for it. There will be a holiday on the second Saturday of the month in government and private schools of Haryana. It has been clearly stated in the orders of the Education Department that it is being implemented in all government and private schools of the state from 9 November 2024.

School timings will change.

The Parents Association of Haryana has requested to change the timing of the second shift in schools. The Parents Association says that in most government schools, children leave at around 6 pm, due to which it becomes very dark when the students return home.
