Sensex Top 10 Companies : In the last week, i.e. from 30 December to 3 January, the market capitalization of four of the top 10 most valuable companies of Sensex decreased by Rs 96,605.66 crore, while the market capitalization of the remaining six companies increased. The biggest impact of this decline was on HDFC Bank, whose market valuation saw the biggest decline.
HDFC, ICICI Bank and TCS suffered losses
During this week's review, the market capitalization of HDFC Bank fell by Rs 37,025.46 crore to Rs 13,37,919.84 crore. Along with this, the valuation of ICICI Bank fell by Rs 29,324.55 crore to Rs 8,93,378.50 crore. The market valuation of TCS also fell by Rs 24,856.26 crore to Rs 14,83,144.53 crore. Apart from this, the valuation of SBI also fell by Rs 5,399.39 crore to Rs 7,08,168.60 crore.
Reliance Industries rises
At the same time, other companies of Sensex saw an increase. The market capitalization of Reliance Industries increased by Rs 41,138.41 crore to Rs 16,93,373.48 crore. The valuation of Hindustan Unilever increased by Rs 15,331.08 crore to Rs 5,65,194.18 crore. Apart from this, the market valuation of LIC, Infosys, ITC and Bharti Airtel also increased.

Among the top 10 Sensex companies, Reliance Industries remained at the top position, followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, Infosys, SBI, ITC, LIC and Hindustan Unilever.
Performance of Sensex and Nifty
Last week, the Sensex closed at 79,223.11 points, up 524.04 points or 0.66 percent, while the Nifty gained 191.35 points or 0.80 percent.
