Pakistan Murder Case: The bodies of four women were recovered from an apartment in Pakistan's financial hub Karachi on Saturday. Local police revealed, "The throats of all four victims were slit with a sharp weapon. There are also marks of torture on their bodies."
What is the whole matter?
According to reports, all the bodies were found on the 7th floor of Zainab Arcade Apartments near Lee Market in the Lyari area of Karachi. The victims were identified as Madiha (18), Ayesha (19), Shahnaz (51). Apart from this, the body of a 13-year-old girl was also recovered.
The bodies of the four women were found in different rooms of the apartment. Police officials did not find any weapon at the scene and said that the killers fled after killing all the victims with the same weapon.
Police are busy investigating the matter
The head of the family, Muhammad Farooq, told the police that he and his two sons were not at home at the time of the incident. He said, "The deceased include my wife, granddaughter and daughter-in-law. I was out of the house with my two sons at the time of the incident." Farooq said, “We do not suspect anyone, as we do not have any enmity with anyone.”
An official investigation into the case has been launched. The bodies have been sent to the Civil Hospital for post-mortem. Police officials are also obtaining CCTV footage from cameras installed in the street to trace the killer. Police suspect the involvement of a relative in the murders, so Farooq and his two sons have also been detained for investigation.
