When India battled it out with Ireland in an ODI, Smriti Mandhana demonized the Irish bowlers and in the process, broke records. She played aggressively and stole the match with a striking finish. Until that point of the series, Mandhana had missed out on achieving an impressive feat, but luckily in the final match of the series she was able to seize the opportunity. Smriti Mandhana’s century is noted as the fastest female easter's century, while Reigning champion Harmanpreet Kaur took 72 balls. Before her Raj took 87 falters as well and Rodrigues and Jain too took the semester falter of 9 falters.
Looking at the bigger picture, this was Smriti Mandhana's 10th hundred across her career in ODIs, making her the first Indian Woman to bag this achievement. She was able to give Mutoni Michen a brilliant 135 cut short this match. India aims to do better looking at the goal, she will become the first person in history to score 100 odins in a single match, she outdid Lanning (15), Bates (9), and Beaumont (9).
In the match, Mandhana was impressive, securing 19 runs at a time. She became the ninth Indian to hit 500 fours in women's cricket, following in the footsteps of Mitali Raj and Tani Raj.
