Important Stocks Today , Stocks To Watch 7 August: Sensex fell 166 points on Tuesday due to selling in banking and telecom stocks. Nifty closed below 24,000. The stock market fell for the third consecutive day and the Sensex closed at 78,593.07, down 166.33 points or 0.21 percent. NSE Nifty fell 63.05 points or 0.26 percent to close below the 24,000 level at 23,992.55. On Tuesday, 17 Sensex stocks declined and 13 rose. State Bank of India (SBI)

The Government of India has approved the appointment of Challa Srinivasulu Setty as the Chairman of SBI for three years from August 28. Rana Ashutosh Kumar Singh will be the MD of the bank.

Suzlon Energy

Suzlon Energy will acquire a 76% stake in Renome Energy Services from the Sanjay Ghodawat Group in two or more tranches. In the first tranche, it will acquire a 51% stake for Rs 400 crore, and in the second tranche, it will acquire an additional 25% stake for Rs 260 crore within 18 months of the first acquisition.

G R Infraprojects

The company has been the lead bidder for setting up a transmission scheme for the integration of Tumkur-II REZ in Karnataka.

Lupine

Lupin's profit grew 77.2 percent to Rs 801.3 crore in Q1FY25 from Rs 452.3 crore in the previous year (Q1FY24). Income also saw a growth of 16.3 percent, rising from Rs 4,814 crore to Rs 5,600.3 crore.

Bosch

Bosch's profit rose 13.8 percent to Rs 465.4 crore from Rs 409 crore, while revenue rose 3.8 percent to Rs 4,316.8 crore from Rs 4,158.4 crore.
