The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) conducted the Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) 2025 today for second-year students, with exams for Maths 2B, Zoology 2, and History 2. The overall attendance was 97.87%, indicating a strong student turnout.
On March 13, the board also conducted exams for first-year students in Maths 1B, Zoology 1, and History 1.
Attendance and Cheating Cases Reported
- Total students registered: 3,76,756
- Total students who appeared: 3,68,619
- Students absent: 8,137
Despite strict measures, 19 cases of cheating were reported across Telangana:
Peddapalli - 1 case
Mahabubabad - 1 case
Nizamabad - 9 cases
Siddipet - 2 cases
Sangareddy - 4 cases
Medchal - 2 cases
To ensure fairness and smooth conduct, TGBIE implemented CCTV surveillance across all exam centers.
According to an official TGBIE statement, observers were sent to key districts, including Medchal, Mahabubabad, Sangareddy, Jangaon, and Rangareddy, and reported no major issues.
