Jamia University: There was a lot of commotion in Delhi's Jamia Millia Islamia University on Tuesday night. Two student groups clashed with each other in protest against the program organized on the occasion of Diwali. As soon as the information was received, hundreds of students gathered at the spot and sloganeering started from both sides. It is alleged that during this time one group also raised slogans of Palestine Zindabad and also misbehaved with some girl students. As soon as the information was received, the teachers and security personnel took charge and pacified the students. According to the data, many students were injured in this violence. The police reached the spot and removed all the students from there. The Jamia campus was pacified. An ABVP official said that it was a very peaceful event. It was organized by the National Art Forum of ABVP. Lamps were lit but some people used objectionable language. After this, slogans of Vande Mataram started being raised from one side and Allahu Akbar from the other. During this, a scuffle also took place between some students. Late night, ABVP Jamia Millia Islamia President Abhishek Srivastava issued a statement. According to him, outsiders and anti-social elements at the venue broke the lamps of Deepotsav while raising provocative slogans like Palestine Zindabad and others.
