Tiku Talsania, a veteran actor in the Indian film industry, suffered a heart attack recently. He has an extensive career spanning across films and television - where he is well remembered for his portrayals in Andaz Apna Apna, Devdas, Special 26 and the widely popular TV series, Uttaran. It is claimed that he has outstanding comedic timing what earned him a name among the veteran actors in Bollywood.

Tiku Talsania suffers heart attack

Reports by Telly Chakkar claim that Tiku suffered from a major heart attack which caused his deteriorating health condition. Other news suggests that the Tiku was placed inside a Kokilaben Hospital ICU unit after he suffered a heart attack in a multiplex at Andheri. He watched a Gujrati movie ‘Mon Tane Naa Samjhaye’ at PVR Icon yesterday at 9 PM, and when he came out, he felt great discomfort accompanied by vomiting, as a result, a wheelchair was brought to him and he was rushed to the closest hospital.

Talsania first appeared as an actor in the Zindagi Yeh Jo Hai television series, released in 1984. After a span of two years, he stepped into Bollywood by acting in Porno Ke Do Pal, Duty and Other Naqli Naqli. He later appeared in Bol Radha Bol, Coolie No. 1, Raja Hindustani, Hero No. 1 as well as bade Miyan Chote Miyan which lead to him being very popular among the masses.

Talsania has also worked in several television serials in India which include Golmaal Hai Bhai Sab Golmaal Hai, Zindagi Abhi Baaki Hai Mere Ghost, and Sajan Re Phir Jhoot Mat Bolo. As a result of his versatility in doing comic and character roles, he has had a large acceptance from people from various generations.

Tiku was seen in the Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri starrer Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video which is set to release in 2024.
