Two children missing after boat capsized in Ganga river in Katihar, Bihar.
At least two children went missing after a boat capsized in the Ganga river in Bihar's Katihar district on Sunday. An official gave this information. The official said that the accident took place near Hatkola village in Manihari block of the district. The boat carrying 12 people capsized in the Ganga on Sunday morning. Katihar District Magistrate Manish Kumar Meena said, "Ten people have been rescued so far, while two children are still missing." Jammu and Kashmir: Five people injured in grenade attack in Srinagar
Five people were injured on Sunday when militants hurled a grenade in a crowded market in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar city, officials said. The attack came near the heavily fortified Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) a day after security forces killed a top Pakistani commander of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in Srinagar's Khanyar area. Police and paramilitary forces were rushed to the spot to rush the injured to hospital and launch a search operation to trace the militants, officials said. The blast created panic in the area with shopkeepers rushing for cover.

Police have arrested a sub-inspector accused of beheading Taekwondo player Anurag Yadav with a sword in the Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh. The arrested sub-inspector Rajesh Yadav is the brother of the main accused Ramesh Yadav in this case. He is also a co-accused in the murder case. Additional Superintendent of Police Arvind Kumar Verma said on Sunday that Rajesh Yadav, posted as sub-inspector in Mawana police station of Meerut, was called to Gaurabadshahpur police station on Saturday for questioning,, and during the questioning, it was confirmed that Rajesh's mobile number was used to talk to the named accused several times a day before and after the incident. He said that this proves the involvement of sub-inspector Rajesh Yadav in the conspiracy of the incident. Additional Superintendent of Police said that earlier in this case, the police had arrested two accused including the main accused Ramesh Yadav. On October 30, 17-year-old Taekwondo player Anurag Yadav was beheaded with a sword due to a land dispute between Laalta Yadav and Ramjeet Yadav in Kabiruddinpur village. The incident happened when Laalta's son Ramesh was clearing the grass on the disputed land on the pretext of cleaning for Diwali. When the other party objected to this, the dispute escalated and Ramesh attacked Ramjit's son Anurag, who was present at the spot, with a sword. Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav had targeted the state government over this incident.

Construction of 12 river bridges for bullet train corridor completed in Gujarat

Delhi: 787 kg ganja seized from a truck, one arrested
