As reported by doctors of Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, which is still treating and ‘recovering’ actor Saif Ali Khan, who is 54, because of his thorax actuo s painful gash sustained on his spine, spine fragment of two and a half inches was drilled into it. While talking to reporters, Dr. He has further explained that the knife strangled a portion of Saif Ali Khan’s spine fluid. The attack on Mr Saif Ali Khan was reported as unknown and he was Shifted to Lilavati hospital at 2 am with Mr Saif Ali Khan in trauma. While doing surgery, it was observed that he had buried a knife under his spine which caused severe damage to the vertebral column. Thereafter, in order to mend the leaking of the torn column fluid, surgery was done, Dr. Dange was reported as saying by news agency PTI.

The doctor claimed that the actor had two horrendous injuries on his body, one on his neck and his left hand. He reassured his doctor that he had all the marks treated by the plastic surgery team. Doctor Dange said, “I am happy to confirm that Mr. Saif Ali Khan is completely stable now, recovering well, and is out of danger.”

Additionally, Dr. Niraj Uttamani, the Lilavati Hospital’s chief operating officer, claimed that Saif was also moved to the intensive care unit (ICU) after the surgery with the hope that Saif would be observed for a day. He went on to say, “Then we will see what happens on the next day. I mean today, he looks perfectly normal. So, he is recuperating.”

Seemingly shedding light on the controversy, the actor's team reported regarding Saif Ali Khan's medical condition during his surgery, "Saif Ali Khan has come out of the surgery and is out of danger. He is stable and currently recovering as the doctors attend to him. All family members are unharmed and the investigation is in the process."

The team also thanks the doctors in the hospital and the fans and well-wishers for the prayers and thoughts with which they attended this tribulation.

This startling issue, Saif Ali Khan's home is located in the Bandra 'Satguru Sharan' flat, was said to have happened when an intruder allegedly assaulted Khan's maid in the first place.
