Pilibhit News : A teenage girl, hurt by alleged molestation in Sungadhi Kotwali police area of ​​Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh, tried to commit suicide by drinking acid. Police said on Saturday that two accused have been taken into custody in this case. Circle Officer (CO) City Deepak Chaturvedi told the media on Saturday that a complaint was received that a minor girl was molested a few days ago and then she was being blackmailed by making a video of the incident. Hurt by this, she drank acid kept at home.

Police have also been sent to Bareilly's hospital and the condition of the victim admitted there is out of danger. According to Kotwali Sungarhi police, a woman living in a village in the area alleged in a complaint given on Saturday that her seventeen and hhalf-year-oldyounger sister was going to the village on November 23, when a young man working at a clothes shop stopped her sister on the way and molested her by doing obscene acts. The accused's partner made a video of this on mobile.

Minor troubled by blackmail

After this, the accused started blackmailing the minor by threatening to make the video viral. They also threatened to kill the girl if she told anyone about the incident. According to the police, the victim, hurt by this, drank acid (toilet cleaner) kept in the house late Friday evening. When her condition deteriorated, the family took her to the medical college, from where she was referred to Bareilly.

The girl was sent to the hospital.

Sungarhi Kotwali's SHO Pawan Kumar Pandey raided the place with the police force and took both the accused into custody. A police team has been sent to Bareilly Hospital to arrange for the treatment of the victim and to take care of her. Police have said that the condition of the girl is out of danger.
