UP assembly Bypoll: Congress, Samajwadi Party, and Bahujan Samaj Party have appointed in-charges for the by-elections to be held on 10 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh. Samajwadi Party has appointed election in-charges for 6 assembly by-election seats. Samajwadi Party's National General Secretary Shivpal Singh Yadav has been made in charge of Ambedkar Nagar's Kathari assembly. While Awadhesh Prasad and Lal Bihari Yadav have been made in charge of Ayodhya's Milkipur seat. MP Virendra Singh has been made in charge of Mirzapur's Majhawan assembly, Chandradev Yadav for Mainpuri's Karhal assembly, Indrajit Saroj for Phulpur, and Rajendra Kumar for Seemau. From this list released by the Samajwadi Party, it has become clear that Samajwadi will field its candidates on 6 out of 10 seats. Out of the 10 assembly seats on which voting will take place, five have been won by Samajwadi Party, three by BJP, and one each by Rashtriya Lok Dal and Nishad Party, both of which are allies of NDA.
Congress also appointed its in-charge
On behalf of Congress, Amethi MP Kishori Lal Sharma has been appointed as the observer for the Sisamau seat. Imran Masood has been appointed in charge of the Meerapur seat. MP Rakesh Rathore has been appointed as the observer for the Kundarki seat. MP Tanuj Punia from Barabanki has been appointed as the observer for the Ghaziabad seat.
Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati has also made a big announcement regarding the by-elections to be held for 10 assembly seats in UP. Mayawati has said that BSP will field its candidates on all 10 seats. Mayawati has appointed Amit Verma alias Jitendra Bhaiya as BSP in charge of the Katehari assembly by-election. Mayawati has also announced the party candidates from Phulpur and Manjhwa in a recent meeting.
