New Nursing College in UP: The Yogi government is moving towards preparing the necessary workforce to strengthen health services. Under this, after increasing the UG and PG seats of medical, the Yogi government is going to increase the seats of paramedical (nursing) on a large scale. In this sequence, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has decided to open new government nursing colleges in 25 districts of the state. Through this, students in many small cities of the state will not only be able to study nursing at government fees, but will also be able to contribute to strengthening the health system of the state. On the initiative of CM Yogi, the construction work of new government nursing colleges has started in 20 districts, while construction work has been approved in 5 districts. At the same time, the CM has directed the implementing agencies to complete the construction work of the colleges soon, so that studies can start from the next academic session.
DGME Kinjal Singh said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is constantly taking necessary steps to strengthen the health infrastructure of the state. Along with this, he is also working on a war footing to provide proper resources to the students of the state for medical and paramedical studies. Under this, CM Yogi has approved the opening of new government nursing colleges in 25 districts of the state, where studies will start in the next academic session. As per the wishes of CM Yogi, construction work of colleges is going on in 20 districts, while construction has been approved in five districts. These include Deoria, Kanpur Dehat, Sonbhadra, Kushinagar and Pilibhit, etc. Four institutions of the state were nominated for the construction work of these colleges.

These include Ayodhya, Bahraich, Shahjahanpur, Siddharthnagar, Fatehpur, Gonda, Sultanpur, Mirzapur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Basti, Firozabad, Hardoi, Etah, Amethi, Lalitpur, Bijnor, Kaushambi, Ghazipur, Pratapgarh and Chandauli. Four institutions of the state were nominated for the construction work of these colleges. These include Uttar Pradesh State Construction Corporation Limited (U.P.R.N. Ltd.), Construction and Design Services (C&DS), UP State Construction and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (UP CIDCO) and Uttar Pradesh Projects Corporation Limited (UPPCL).
