School Closed in UP Bulandshahr, Agra, Jhansi, Lalitpur: Amid heavy rain warnings, the district administration of Bulandshahr has issued an order to keep all schools, including government and non-government schools from class 1 to 12, closed tomorrow, September 14. Also, schools have been asked to resume online classes instead of conducting physical classes and strictly follow the instructions. The closure of schools has been announced by the Basic Shiksha Adhikari and District School Inspector on the instructions of the District Magistrate.
Agra has also announced the closure of schools from nursery to class 12 in all private and government schools. Officials have also asked school authorities to revise internal assessments or practical exams (if any) scheduled for today.
A heavy rain alert was issued.
Due to the heavy rains forecast by the weather department, the district magistrate has directed schools to prioritize student safety. As a result, all schools in the district (from nursery to class 12) including council, recognised and aided schools. Boards, will observe a holiday on September 14. However, schools have the option of conducting online classes for students, ensuring that their studies continue.
Schools will remain closed in these districts
Following the IMD's heavy rain alert, all government and private schools for classes 1 to 12 are closed in Agra, Mainpuri, Firozabad, Etah, Farrukhabad, Hamirpur, Auraiya, Kannauj, Jalaun, Aligarh, Hathras, Bahraich, Etawah and Sitapur.
The weather forecast department has issued an alert in several districts of Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Rajasthan besides Uttar Pradesh. Schools in Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and Madhya Pradesh are closed today and are expected to remain closed tomorrow as well. All parents and students are advised to contact their respective school authorities for further updates.
