The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the last date to apply for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (CSE) 2025 and Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) Examination (IFoS) 2025. Candidates can now submit their applications until February 21, 2025 (6:00 PM).
This marks the first time UPSC has extended the registration deadline twice in a row.
Additionally, the application correction window will be available from February 22 to February 28, 2025.
The UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 will be conducted on May 25, 2025, and the exam aims to fill 979 vacancies.

Follow these steps to complete your registration:
Step 1: Visit the official UPSC website – upsc.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the ‘UPSC CSE 2025 Application Form’ link.
Step 3: Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) and log in.
Step 4: Fill out the application form with the required details.
Step 5: Upload necessary documents and pay the application fee.
Step 6: Submit the form and download a printout for future reference.
