A source told the publication that Akshay arrived in time for the Laxmii promotion as he is quite punctual. But he and his wife were unable to meet Salman at around 2:15 PM since he was not around then. Despite his busy schedule with the trailer for Jolly LLB 3, Akshay waited for him for an hour. He concluded from it that Akshay had left the set without even filming a single scene of the program after waiting for Salman.”

Additionally, that source also stated that the Bigg Boss 18 team then tried to place a call to Akshay with the hope that he would steer himself back to the set. However, he couldn't because of prior appointments. He had already called Salman and told him that he was going to leave for a meeting. Salman also expressed his hope that he would be taken on the show again at a different time, the source noted
