Vedanta Dividend Record Date: The Board of Directors of mining major Vedanta has approved the fourth interim dividend of Rs 8.5 per equity share for the financial year 2024-25. In a notice to the stock exchange on Monday, the company said that the record date for the dividend is December 24 and it will be paid within the stipulated time frame. Record date means that only those who hold shares till this date will get the dividend.
Will get dividend of Rs 3,324 crore
According to the statement, Vedanta's Board of Directors in its meeting held on December 16, 2024 considered and approved the fourth interim dividend of Rs 8.5 per share on the face value of Rs 1 per equity share for the financial year 2024-25. The total dividend amount is Rs 3,324 crore.
Dividend of Rs 43.5 in the current financial year
Earlier, Vedanta had announced its third interim dividend of Rs 20 per share in September. Prior to this, dividends of Rs 11 and Rs 4 per share were paid. With this, Vedanta has paid a total interim dividend of Rs 43.5 per share during the current financial year.
Vedanta operates in sectors such as oil and gas, zinc, lead, silver, copper, iron ore, steel and aluminium in several countries.
