Delta Airlines Plane Crash-Lands in Toronto; 15 Injured

A Delta Airlines flight carrying 80 people, including four crew members, crash-landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Monday, flipping upside down upon landing. The incident, which was captured on video, shows the aircraft skidding on a snow-covered runway before black smoke billows from the fuselage.

The aircraft, identified as an Endeavor Air flight from Minneapolis, US, landed hours after a massive snowstorm, but the exact cause of the crash remains unknown.

At least 15 passengers, including a child, were injured and were immediately transported to nearby hospitals.

Fire crews responded swiftly, using water to douse the smoke, while passengers were safely evacuated.

Toronto Airport Authority's Statement

Deborah Flint, CEO of the Toronto Airport Authority, praised the quick action of emergency responders:
"The incident involved no other aircraft. Emergency teams were heroic, reaching the site within minutes and evacuating passengers swiftly. Many have already been reunited with their loved ones."

Flights at Toronto Pearson Airport were halted for two hours following the crash.
Passengers were warned to expect delays as operations resumed.
