A major accident has happened at the Mahakal temple in Ujjain. The wall near gate number four of the Mahakal temple has collapsed. Some people are reported to be injured in the accident. Rescue teams are present at the spot and are rescuing people.

Shopkeeper injured

According to the information received, the wall collapsed in front of gate number four near Mahakal temple on Friday. The shopkeepers who had set up their shops near the wall became victims of the accident. It is reported that four shopkeepers were injured in this accident. All of them used to set up their shops sitting on the road. As soon as the information was received, Ujjain Collector SP and temple administrator along with Mahakal temple administration reached the spot. After which the rescue operation started and the injured were taken to the hospital.

two people died

According to officials, two people have died in this accident. Sharda Bai (age 40) and Ruhi (3), injured in the wall accident, have been referred to Bombay Hospital, Indore. Farheen (age 22) of Jaisingh Pura and Ajay (age 27) of Shivshakti Nagar died in the accident.
