BJP MLA Sarita Bhadoria Vande Bharat: Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ) MLA from Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, Sarita Bhadoria fell on the railway track on Monday while rushing to flag off the Agra-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express. The incident happened when the train reached the platform at around 6 pm. The platform was very crowded at that time.

According to an alleged video that surfaced on social media, the 61-year-old BJP MLA was standing on the platform with several people holding green flags.

As soon as the train driver blew the horn to start the train, MLA Sarita Bhadoria fell in front of the train from the platform on the railway line due to the push of the crowd while trying to wave the flag. People somehow stopped the train from moving and a serious accident was averted.

The MLA got injured in the incident. She was taken to the hospital.

BJP's Etawah unit treasurer Sanjeev Bhadoria said, "The MLA is resting at her home. She has not suffered any external injury. If there is any internal injury, it is yet to be confirmed." After Prime Minister Narendra Modi digitally flagged off the Vande Bharat train, this train numbered 20175 stopped at Tundla before reaching Etawah station.

On the arrival of the train, various political leaders, including Samajwadi Party MP from Etawah Jitendra Dohare, former BJP MP Ram Shankar Katheria, and current MLA Sarita Bhadoria, started jostling to flag off the train. In this jostling, the MLA fell down from the platform.
