Lok Sabha adjourned: In the Lok Sabha on Thursday, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey once again asked some questions accusing the Congress of having links with American billionaire George Soros, and due to uproar by opposition party MPs over his allegations, the proceedings of the House were adjourned till 2 pm after one adjournment. During Zero Hour, Bharatiya Janata Party member Nishikant Dubey repeated his questions to the Congress and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on the Soros issue. He said, I have ten questions for the Congress and Rahul Gandhi. I have been trying to ask these questions for the last four days, but the opposition is not letting me speak.

Nishikant Dubey asked- what is relationship of Congress is with Soros.

Dubey said what is the relation between the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation and former Congress President with an organization which considers Kashmir as a separate country and which is funded by George Soros. He asked what is the relationship of the former Congress President with George Soros. Citing a report, Dubey alleged that the head of 'Overseas Friends of Congress' had committed a scam of Rs 150 crores and whose organization 'Global Knowledge Initiative' is funded by Soros. The BJP MP claimed that this organization bears all the expenses of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi's US tour.

He alleged that the head of Overseas Friends of Congress meets Khalistanis and those who talk about breaking Kashmir. Dubey asked what is the connection between all these. The BJP MP claimed, Soros came to India in 2004 and 2009 and took a five percent stake in the Bombay Stock Exchange. He kept taking money from the stock market from 2010 to 2014. He met the Gandhi family. What is the connection between Soros and the Gandhi family? Dubey alleged that Soros created various funds and gave money to 300 people in Congress in the name of startups. Who are these 300 people?

Sloganeering near the seat of Congress MPs

During this, Congress members came near the chair and started sloganeering. Dubey has already raised this issue in the House. Amidst the uproar, the presiding chairman Jagdambika Pal adjourned the proceedings of the House at 12:18 till 1 pm. Earlier, during the Zero Hour in the House, Congress member S Jothimani raised the issue of farmers' protest at the Shambhu and Khanauri border near Delhi and alleged that the government is unnecessarily raising the issue of George Soros to suppress the farmers' protest. Taking the name of an industrialist, he alleged that he is protected by the government, but farmers are not protected.

On this, Chairman Jagdambika Pal said that you cannot take the name of a person who is not present in the House. He directed to removal of the name of the industrialist from the proceedings, on which Congress members started registering protests. Congress MP KC Venugopal said that the Chair has given the instruction to remove a name taken by Congress member Jothimani in his statement, but on Wednesday, in Zero Hour, Union Minister Piyush Goyal made the same allegations against the Congress and its leaders that his party has been repeating for the last few days. He said that Zero Hour is the time of the members, but a minister was making allegations about it.

Venugopal said, you removed what Jothimani said from the proceedings. Is this applicable only to the opposition, not to them (the ruling party)? He told the presiding chairman, that when the Union Minister speaks during the zero hour, you did not remove his words from the proceedings. These double standards are not right. Jagadambika Pal said that such proceedings take place as per the instructions and rules of the Speaker. After this, Congress MPs came near the chair and started sloganeering. When the meeting of the House resumed at 1 pm, the Congress MPs started sloganeering and creating a ruckus in the House as before. Seeing the ruckus not stopping in the House, the presiding chairman Sandhya Rai adjourned the meeting for 2 pm within just a few moments.
