Punjab , Haryana High Court: In its recent decision, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has said that if a wife calls her husband a eunuch (transgender), then it is mental cruelty. The High Court was hearing a petition filed against the decision of the Family Court on July 12. In the petition, the wife has challenged the decision of the Family Court. The Family Court has ordered the husband to divorce his wife. The wife's mother-in-law has testified in the court that her daughter-in-law calls her son a eunuch.

The wife's behavior will come under the category of mental cruelty - Court.

While giving its verdict, the division bench of Justice Sudhir Singh and Justice Jasjit Singh Bedi said that 'if the things said by the family court are seen in the light of the decisions of the Supreme Court, then the wife's behavior will come under the category of mental cruelty. Calling the husband a eunuch and telling his mother that she has given birth to a transgender is cruelty.'

Husband claims wife is addicted to watching porn and playing mobile games.

The couple got married in the year 2017. In the application filed by the husband for divorce, it is said that his wife stays awake till late at night. Not only this, she asks his sick mother to bring her food from the ground floor to the first floor. The husband alleges that his wife is addicted to watching porn videos and playing games on her mobile. She taunts him about having physical relations. According to the husband, the wife accuses him of not being physically capable. She talks about marrying someone else. At the same time, the wife has rejected the husband's allegations. The wife says that in fact, the husband has thrown her out of the house. The wife claims that the husband's family members have done black magic to control her.

After hearing the case, the court said that the couple has been separated from each other for six years and there is no possibility of their reconciliation now. Therefore, the decision of the family court in favor of the husband is upheld.
