Zepto Founder: Zepto's co-founder and CEO Adit Palicha said on Monday that Zepto's success was due to the passion to build a transformative company and not just the desire to make money. Zepto's market valuation is five billion US dollars. According to the 22-year-old entrepreneur, despite working 80-100 hours a week, Zepto is not driven by financial gain but by his enthusiasm for the platform he is building.

"We love what we're building (the platform). We work day and night, we're really excited about what we're building. It's not really about money or personal assets... we obviously work 80-100 hours a week...," Palicha said.

"At a certain point, money becomes unimportant," said Palicha, a Stanford University dropout. While valuations of many global internet companies have touched billions of dollars, India is yet to see such results, he said.
