Once upon a time, Lord Ganesha was roaming around with a pinch of rice and milk in a spoon asking someone to make kheer for him. But whoever saw even a few ingredients for making Kheer would refuse. Then an old woman said- give it to me son, I will make kheer for you and she brought a bowl. Then Ganesh ji said why have the old woman brought a bowl, bring a bigger vessel for this. Then the old woman brought a big vessel and as soon as Ganesh ji put a spoonful of milk in that vessel, that vessel got filled with milk. Ganesh ji Maharaj said that I will go out and come back, till then you make kheer. After some time, kheer was ready.

Seeing the kheer, the mouth of the old lady's daughter-in-law started watering. She poured the kheer into a bowl and started eating it sitting behind the door. A drop of kheer fell on the ground from the daughter-in-law. Due to this Lord Ganesh ji himself got offered as an offering. After some time, the old lady called Ganesh ji and brought him. Then Ganesh ji said- Old lady said but you have not even tasted the kheer yet. Then Ganesh ji started saying that when your daughter-in-law ate the kheer sitting behind the door, even though unknowingly, a drop fell on the ground and due to this my offering got offered.

So the old woman said- Son! What should I do with this kheer now? Ganesh Ji said- Eat the kheer yourself and distribute it among everyone. If Kheer is still left, put it on a plate and keep it on the shelf. In the evening Ganesh Maharaj came and asked for kheer from the old woman. As soon as the old woman went to take the kheer, diamonds, and pearls were formed on that plate. O Ganesh ji Maharaj, give everyone the same wealth and riches as you gave to the old woman.

Story of Lord Ganesha (Ganesh Ji Ki Kahani)

An old woman lived in a small house with her son and daughter-in-law. The old woman used to worship Ganesh Ji daily. Ganesh Ji used to say to the old woman every day- Old woman! Ask for something. The old woman used to say- What should I ask for? Then one day Ganesh Ji said- Ask your son what he wants. So the son said- Mother! Ask for money. When she started asking the daughter-in-law, the daughter-in-law said that she wanted a grandson. The old woman thought that these two were asking for their own benefit, so she should go and ask the neighbor. Then she went to the neighbor and asked what she should ask for. So the neighbor said- Crazy girl! Why should she ask for money? Why should she ask for a grandson? Only a few days of life are left. So you should ask for your beautiful body. After coming home, the old woman started thinking that she should ask for such a thing which will make the son and daughter-in-law happy. The next day Ganesh Ji came again and said- Old woman! Ask for something. The old woman said- give me a beautiful body, I can see my grandson drinking milk from a golden bowl, give me eternal marital bliss, give me a healthy body, give me a brother, nephews, the whole family, give me happiness, give me salvation. Hearing these words from the old woman, Ganeshji said- Old woman! You have deceived me. But now it will happen as you have said and Ganeshji blessed the old woman. Now everything became the same at the old woman's place. O Ganeshji Maharaj! Give everything to someone like you gave everything to the old woman.
